LUZ KINILAW, the landmark seafood restaurant just outside of the Magsaysay Park in Davao City’s Chinatown was burned down by fire early evening April 1.
Luz Kinilaw for nearly 40 years was a symbol of Davao City’s famous tuna (Bariles) dishes: Kinilaw na Bariles, Sinugba Panga ng Tuna and Buntot ng Bariles.
For years, tourists visiting Davao City go home not without the prized Sinugbang Buntot or Panga.
