For their collective sins to the people, Vice President Jejomar Binay and his family should kneel down before God and pray for forgiveness.
“Kneel down and pray,” Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte said addressing the Binays during a political rally in San Miguel, Bulacan on April 13.
Duterte, presidential candidate of the opposition Partido Demokratiko Pilipino/Laban (PDP/Laban) in the May presidential election, dished out the soulful advice to Binay of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA), as the Davao City mayor captured the lead in latest surveys of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) and Pulse Asia.
Binay is now at the third spot of the surveys after second placer independent candidate Senator Grace Poe and a point ahead of fourth placer Mar Roxas of the ruling Liberal Party.
“Lumuhod ka sa Diyos. Mag-iyak ka ng sinsero,” (Kneel before God and cry sincerely), advised Duterte.
The Vice President, his wife Dr. Elenita Binay and son Junjun Binay, are facing various charges for alleged anomalies as former mayors of Makati City.
Duterte said the Binay family stole billions of pesos from the people.
“Kay Binay, bilyon-bilyon yun. Yung anak niya kailangan magluhod din sa tabi niya at yung asawa niya,” said Duterte adding the entire family should kneel down and pray before until Election Day.

Binay urged Filipinos not to vote for Duterte.
Binay tagged Duterte as the “Pambansang Berdugo” for his alleged human rights violations and extrajudicial killings in Davao City.
Hitting back at Binay, Duterte said the Vice President is the “berdugo” (butcher) of people’s money alluding to alleged the kickbacks from government projects squeezed from contractors when he was the mayor of Makati City.
Binay and his son former mayor Junjun who has been suspended from office faced graft charges before the Ombudsman and were investigated by the Senate Committee Blue Ribbon for alleged kickbacks from government projects, including the P2 billion Makati City Building !!.
Duterte, who has vowed to end corruption and criminality if elected President, said voters will have a choice in May between a killer of criminals and a thief of public funds.
