Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero has inched closer to the top of the latest survey, only four percentage points behind top runner Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr in the April 5-10 ABS-CBN survey.
In the survey, Escudero scored 23% against Marcos’ 27%.
The camp of Escudero in Davao City, said they expect Escudero’s number to rise and Marcos’ vote to slide down.
Escudero is rising while Marcos is falling, said the Escudero camp pointing to figures in the latest ABS/CBN survey involving 4,000 registered voters conducted for the media outfit by Pulse Asia Research, Incorporated.
In the latest survey Marcos’ 27% was down by one percentage point compared to his number in the March 29-April 3 ABS-CBN poll.
Escudero was in second place with 23%, 4 points below Marcos but with a 2-percentage point gain compared to the previous survey.
Leni Robredo with 21%, is down by a percentage point.
Senator Alan Peter Cayetano gained 2 percentage points with a 17%-rating.
Senator Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan II’s rating remained unchanged at 4%, while Senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV had 3%-voter preference, a 2-percentage point loss.
