The trapos can go to the extent of using children as weapons of their dirty war, said Peter Lavina, chief of the media bureau of the Davao City Mayor, standard bearer of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino/Laban (PDP/Laban).
Lavina was referring to an attack ad that has started airing on television on Thursday, May 5, five days to go to the May 9 election.
The ad had minors commenting on issues raised against Duterte, now on top of poll surveys way ahead of his rivals.
The placement of the ad, aired on ABS/CBN, was not attributed to any candidate.
The ad was aired as Senator Antonio Trillanes, running for vice president under the Magdalo Party, continued to hit at Duterte over the mayor’s alleged secret bank accounts and undeclared properties.
Presidential candidates Mar Roxas of the Liberal Party, independent candidate Senator Grace Poe and Vice President Jejomar Binay of the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) have also intensified their attacks on Duterte, riding on the issues raised by Trillanes.
The Duterte camp has tagged Trillanes as an ‘attack dog’ of President Benigno Aquino whose ruling Liberal Party is fielding Roxas in the presidential derby.
The enemies of Duterte have turned into ISIS terrorists by using children in their propaganda war, said Lavina.
ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), considered as today’s most violent and and dangerous terrorist group in the world, have killed thousands in the Middle East as they attempt to create a separate Muslim caliphate in Iraq and Syria. ISIS militants are known to use child bombers in bombing missions.
Lavina said those behind the ad “violated decency and child labor laws just to hit at Duterte.”
High in the list of suspects of Lavina as behind the ad are Aquino and Roxas.
In war, even among thieves like those in the mafia, they always exclude children and women. But not for Mar and Noy who have no actual children. The claimed son of Mar is not his; its from his brother, according to many stories. Look who turns out to be the real berdugos, child abusers, killing the bright future of these kids, said Lavina.
Among issues raised by rivals against Duterte is his alleged link to the Davao Death Squad, blamed as behind the spate of summary executions in Davao City that allegedly included minor victims.
