Davao City acting Mayor Paolo Duterte is expecting more local and foreign tourists to arrive in Davao to experience this year’s celebration of Kadayawan Festival.
The projection was made even with the announcement that this year’s Kadayawan will be simple and meaningful, a celebration that will be dedicated to the tribes of Davao City — the lumads and the Muslims.
In an interview with reporters, Duterte said Kadayawan will be more ‘attractive’ to tourists this year given that Davao is in the limelight being the hometown of President Rodrigo Duterte — his father. READ MORE
