The event was a gathering of the best chefs in town, culinary masters, and other individuals who have great passion in cooking.

Viking Davao’s Mangosteen Barbecue Crusted Molmol in Sea Urchin Butter Sauce won bronze medal in the local fish and seafood category.

They used a Parrot Fish then simmer it with Mangosteen Sauce and served it with Sea Urchin Butter Sauce.

Their entry that consisted of different Filipino cuisines took home the gold medal in the savory category.

The “My Own version of Eggs Benedict” entry also won a bronze medal in the Creative Breakfast category.

The dish is composed of pandesal topped with egg, fried kangkong, salted egg with kesong puti, with some salads serve with kinilaw sauce and honey.

Lastly, on their Pasta Entry, the Lasagna Mignon dish got the bronze medal.

Those savory and appetizing foods were prepared by chefs Wilhelm Quirante, Aldrian Saraña, and Ramel Solano (Gold, Filipino Cuisine Challenge); Vincent Georpe (Bronze, Local Fish/Seafood, Individual); Ray Angelo Galura (Bronze, Creative Breakfast); Edwin Manabat (Bronze, Pasta Category).
